We’re Georgia Regents University now!

As of January 8, 2013, our (former) institution, Georgia Health Sciences University (GHSU), has officially merged with a local university, the Augusta State University (ASU) to form Georgia Regents University (GRU).

See the official announcement by GHSU’s (and GRU’s) President, Dr. Riccardo Azziz.  (Our institution has changed its name once before recently.  GHSU was originally known as the Medical College of Georgia, or MCG.  On February 1, 2010, MCG changed its name to Georgia Health Sciences University, or GHSU.)
